Distilled locally in Auvergne, common sage produces a mist with aromatic and herbaceous notes, recognized in herbal medicine for its purifying and balancing properties.

Hand-harvested by a farmer-herbalist on small plots in Haute-Loire, sage follows the rhythm of the seasons and is picked when its leaves concentrate the most active ingredients. The fresh plants are then distilled in a traditional copper still, at low pressure and with steam. This respectful process yields a pure hydrolat of herbalist quality, at a 1/1 ratio: one kilogram of fresh plant for one liter of hydrolat.
