This soap is made using cold saponification, an artisanal method that preserves the properties of the oils and retains the glycerin naturally produced during the reaction. Unlike industrial soaps heated to high temperatures, this process ensures better preservation of the active ingredients and nourishing properties. After production, they are air-dried for several months, an essential maturation period to guarantee a soft texture, a fine lather, and optimal effectiveness. These soaps are also superfatted, which means that a small part of the lipids does not react, thus forming a protective layer on the skin that helps make it softer to the touch and provides a feeling of comfort after washing.

Activated charcoal has long been recognized for its purifying and detoxifying properties. It is derived from plant materials that are heated and then activated at high temperatures. This process gives it a highly porous structure, composed of numerous micropores, as well as a strong adsorption capacity. It thus effectively removes toxins and impurities from the skin’s surface, absorbs excess sebum, mattifies oily skin, and gently exfoliates. The combination with honey, along with the presence of natural glycerin and plant lipids derived from cold saponification, helps preserve the skin’s moisture and comfort.
