Made in Le Puy-en-Velay, the Emblavez candle draws inspiration from the volcanic soils and deep forests surrounding the valley of the same name. Its fragrance blends the density of dry wood with the warmth of spices, evoking the serenity of the undergrowth after the rain. A note of heliotrope softens this accord, adding a soothing floral sweetness. Hand-poured from natural vegetable wax, it offers a clean burn and slowly diffuses its woody and enveloping aroma.

Plant and forest merge in the Emblavez valley, where herbalists of yesteryear gathered flowers and resins at the foot of the volcanoes.

Transposed into a candle, this serene nature reveals a blend of smoky wood and heliotrope, combining warmth and softness. The flame releases a fragrance of woodland flowers and burnt paper, both enveloping and comforting; like a slow walk in the forest after the rain.

What is its composition?

It is handmade in Puy-en-Velay, using natural vegetable wax, an organic cotton wick and a fragrance based on natural lemon verbena extract.

How long does the candle last?

Approximately 60 hours for the large size and 30 hours for the small one. Its slow and even burn ensures a harmonious diffusion of the fragrance.

How to use it properly?

When using for the first time, allow the candle to burn until the surface is completely liquid to prevent tunneling. Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 0.5 cm for a stable flame and optimal combustion.

Is it natural and safe?

Yes. The Velay candle is 100% handcrafted, hand-poured from paraffin-free vegetable wax, with an organic cotton wick and natural fragrances. It contains no dyes or synthetic additives.

For clean burning, it is recommended to ventilate the room regularly and avoid lighting the candle in a confined or poorly ventilated space. Never let it burn for more than 2 to 3 consecutive hours, and ensure that the flame remains stable and free from any drafts.
